We feel that part of a child’s Christian education should include teaching children to reach out to others in need. For that reason, we organize a monthly mission outreach for our families. Watch here for what we are doing and how you can help. We will also tell you about the success of each mission.

Current Missions

We are  planning our first annual benefit called Playing With a Purpose to help one of our own preschool families who have fallen on hard times due to the father being involved in a serious car accident

Completed Missions

March 2008

• Raised $2400 for Muscular Dystrophy Association by having a Hop-A-Thon.

February 2008

• Made Valentines for area nursing homes and distributed them with Bisch Funeral Home

December 2007

• Collected Christmas presents for 15 children from Asbury Children's Supper Hour.
• Raised $1000 from the "Christmas Program Pew Raffle" for a Preschool family experiencing major difficulties.

November 2007

• Collected enough food to make 15 Thanksgiving baskets for the Asbury Children's Supper Hour families.
• Collected $155 to buy turkeys for Asbury Children's Supper Hour families.

October 2007

• Collected $53.40 for Epilepsy Resource Center through donations for pony rides at our Fall Festival
• Collected $2460 for St. Jude's Children's Hospital through a Bike-a-Thon during gym time.
• Decorated pumpkins and made posters for area nursing homes with Bisch Funeral Home

• Collected $2321 during our MDA Hop-a-Thon

December 2006

• Bought Christmas gifts for 12 children of Asbury Children’s Supper Hour

November 2006

• Provided 13 Thanksgiving Food Baskets and money for turkeys for Asbury Children’s Supper Hour families

• Collected $1617 for St. Jude’s Bike-a-Thon
• Collected 50 shopping bags of canned goods for the Food Pantry
• Made fall decorations for area nursing homes

September 2006

• Collected school supplies to fill 50 school bags for Lutheran World Relief
